SANTA ANA (CNS) - A 54-year-old man who allegedly crashed a pickup truck into a Kohl's department store in Huntington Beach was charged Tuesday with attempted murder.

Tuan Miller was charged with six counts of attempted murder and single counts each of driving under the influence of a drug causing injury, vandalism and evading police-reckless driving, all felonies. He also faces sentencing enhancements for attempted premeditated murder and inflicting great bodily injury.

Officers responded to the crash at about 8 p.m. Friday at 7777 Edinger Ave. Three victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Officers saw the motorist trying to drive away from the collision and began pursuit, which ended with a PIT maneuver a short distance away in the 16000 block of Beach Boulevard, police said.
