Fire Knocked Down at Residence in Granada Hills

GRANADA HILLS (CNS) - A fire at a residence formerly used a marijuana growing operation was extinguished Saturday in Granada Hills.

Fire crews responded at approximately 3:12 a.m. to a vacant, 1,715- square-foot, two-story residence on the 17000 block of West Rinaldi Street, west of Shoshone Avenue, where they found the house fully engulfed in flames, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.

A total 39 LAFD firefighters extinguished the flames in 43 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
