LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Kylie Jenner Inc. attorneys state in new court papers that a lawsuit filed by a model who alleges the beauty brand hired her for photo shoots in June and August 2020 and paid her late each time should be dismissed.

Yirledys "Sasha" Palma filed her complaint against the 26-year-old Jenner's company in Los Angeles Superior Court on June 15, seeking $120,000 in alleged state Labor Code penalty violations. The June 2020 photo shoot took place in Los Angeles and the second one two months later in Long Beach, according to the suit.

In court papers filed Friday with Judge Joseph Lipner, Kylie Jenner Inc. lawyers maintain the lawsuit should be dismissed and that Palma be ordered to pay attorneys' fees and costs to the firm. The defense attorneys cite multiple defenses on behalf of the company, including immunity and that Palma was not a "print-shoot employee" of the firm as defined by the Labor Code.

The judge has scheduled a case management conference for Oct. 30.
