PORTER RANCH (CNS) - Police sought the public's help Monday to find the hit-and-run motorist responsible for badly injuring a pedestrian who was sitting on a street in Porter Ranch over the weekend.

The man was "gravely injured" about 1 a.m. Sunday at Braemore Road and Bowmore Avenue, and he remained hospitalized Monday afternoon, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

According to police, the man, in his 20s, was hit by a dark-colored vehicle that kept going. No further description was available.
