One Hospitalized in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway in Pomona

POMONA (CNS) - One person was taken to Pomona Valley Hospital this morning following a multi-vehicle crash on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Pomona.

The crash was reported at 2:27 a.m. on the eastbound San Bernardino Freeway just west of the Chino Valley (71) Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball.

Witnesses initially reported the lanes were blocked by five to six vehicles involved in the crash. Three tow trucks were called to the scene.

A news videographer who went to the scene reported THAT three or four vehicles were involved and that one driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

A SigAlert was issued at 2:50 a.m. shutting down all eastbound lanes of the San Bernardino Freeway and taking off traffic at Via Verde Street.
