REDONDO BEACH (CNS) - An employee of a massage business in Redondo Beach was arrested for allegedly soliciting prostitution, authorities said Wednesday.
Officers arrested the 40-year-old Temple City resident Tuesday as part of an investigation into "potential criminal violations" at Lucky Spa, 2299 190th St., according to Lt. Jeff Mendence of the Redondo Beach Police Department.
The suspect's name and gender were not immediately available. The case will be presented to the Redondo Beach city prosecutor's office for possible filing of criminal charges.
Massage businesses are regulated by the Redondo Beach Municipal Code Title 6 which requires compliance with health and safety standards that include lighting, hours of operation, licensing, accessibility and sanitary conditions, Mendence said.
