SANTA MONICA (CNS) - A missing senior from Santa Monica was found Sunday in Westchester.

Donald Ellis, 80, had last been seen around 7 p.m. Saturday at 16th Street and Washington Avenue in Santa Monica, and the California Highway Patrol briefly activated a silver alert Sunday on behalf of the Santa Monica Police Department.

Ellis was found at a Bristol Farms in Westchester, his wife Carol Ellis told City News Service. She added that he was assaulted Sunday morning at an In-N-Out restaurant, and said she was planning to report the assault to police.
