County Authorities Identify Man Shot in Koreatown

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A 64- year-old man who was fatally shot in a parking lot in the Koreatown area was identified Saturday.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's office identified the victim as Gregory Hall.

Hall was wounded about 7 p.m. Thursday near Vermont Avenue and Sixth Street and died at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

The suspect, described only as a man, ran from the scene and was being sought, police said. A motive for the crime was not known.
