LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities Tuesday chased a motorist who was allegedly driving erratically, but the suspect's car collided with an SUV in the Wilmington area and two occupants got out and fled on foot.
The crash occurred around 9:20 a.m. near Figueroa and I streets, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies from the sheriff's Carson station noticed the vehicle being driven erratically, and began chasing it, but called off the pursuit before the crash occurred, the sheriff's department reported.

According to KCAL9, the suspect's blue Mazda collided with a small SUV in Wilmington that was occupied by a woman, who declined to be taken to a hospital for treatment.
