HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - A woman was injured in a shooting near a gas station in the Hollywood area Wednesday.
The shooting was reported around 4:30 p.m. near the Chevron gas station and ExtraMile convenience store near Sunset and Crescent Heights boulevards.
The female victim was treated at the scene and loaded into an ambulance to be taken to a hospital. Her condition was not immediately known, but she appeared to be conscious as she was being placed into the ambulance.
There was no immediate word on a suspect description. ABC7 reported that the suspect may have fled the area in a gray SUV.
