Police Seek Suspects in Pepper-Spray Robbery at Target Store

INGLEWOOD (CNS) - Authorities Tuesday sought the public's help in identifying and locating two suspects, one of whom allegedly pepper sprayed an employee at a Target in Inglewood and strolled out with a shopping cart full of merchandise.

The robbery occurred on Dec. 15 about 9:10 p.m. at 3471 W. Century Boulevard, where one of the suspects filled a shopping cart with merchandise and walked to the front exit doors, the Inglewood Police Department reported.

The suspect pepper sprayed a Target employee who made contact with him. He then took the merchandise to what was described as possibly a silver two-door Mercedes-Benz with tinted windows, a sun roof, chrome wheels and no license plates.

The car then drove southbound through the parking lot and out of sight.

The suspect with the shopping cart was described as 6-foot man in his mid-30s weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white and brown striped shirt, brown pants and black shoes.  Police had no description of the driver.
