Motorist Sought in South Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities today sought the public's help in locating and identifying a motorist who was behind the wheel of a hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles and caught on video fleeing the scene on foot.

The driver of a stolen 2008 Lexus IS250 was involved in a crash with a 2003 Ford Ranger at 43rd Place and McKinley Avenue about 8 a.m. on Nov. 30, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. The occupants in the Ford Ranger suffered minor injuries.

The man in the stolen Lexus fled the scene on foot. He was described as Latino, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, about 200 pounds and in his early 20s.
