LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man who almost struck a pedestrian with his vehicle in a downtown Los Angeles alley was shot to death after he got into an argument with the pedestrian and four other males, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred about 9:05 p.m. Sunday in an alley at 15th and Alameda streets, according to a dispatcher at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.
The 37-year-old victim was driving down the alley when he almost struck a pedestrian, she said.
The pedestrian and four other males argued with the victim and one produced a handgun and shot him, the dispatcher said.
Paramedics took him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, she said.
No arrests were reported.
