Brea PD Investigates Weekend Shooting of House

BREA (CNS) - Brea police today were investigating a weekend shooting that left a bullet hole in a house, but caused no injuries. According police, officers responded at 3 a.m. Saturday to a report of shots being heard in an area near Tonner Ridge Drive and Santa Fe Road.

Officers, however, were unable to locate any shooting victims or any people or vehicles in the area. A few hours later, around 8:30 a.m., police received a call from a resident in the nearby 2600 block of Ojai Drive reporting a bullet hole in a house. Officers responded and confirmed that the home had been struck by gunfire.

Police said the shooting appears to have been an isolated incident, and no injuries were reported. Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to contact Detective Alfred Rodriguez at 714-990-7748 or arodriguez@cityofbrea.net.
