BREAKING: San Bernardino just sued California on behalf of businesses and residents over COVID restrictions.
This is important because San Bernardino County went straight to the CA Supreme Court to get some relief.
For the Governor to lump in ALL So Cal counties into the same tier is completely unfair because numbers are different all over.
The lawsuit addresses this idiotic demand from Gavin Newsom.
Last month the San Bernardino Board of Supervisors voted to pursue this action
County supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday, Nov. 17, to ask the county’s attorneys to prepare the potential lawsuit.
While the legal basis for the lawsuit isn’t yet clear, supervisors directed attorneys to find a cause of action and bring the proposed lawsuit to supervisors for final approval before filing it. They also directed county employees to reach out to cities and other counties to find partners for the legal action.
The governor’s “one-size-fits all” approach is not science-based, and the sprawling county should have less-strict regulations in areas with lower case rates, said Supervisor Janice Rutherford during Tuesday’s meeting.
San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman called in to talk to John & Ken with the details.
