Protesters Constantly Interrupt Second Night of Democratic Debate

Democratic Presidential Candidates Debate In Detroit Over Two Nights

Last night was the second night of the Democrats' presidential primary debates and it didn't go without heckling from protesters. Front-runner of the Democratic party, Joe Biden, was dealt with chants of "three million deportations" during his response to his immigration policy.

This number referred to the number of illegal immigration deportations under the Obama administration. Biden wasn't free from criticism on just his immigration policy but a lot of flack came from how the Affordable Care Act worked as well.

During the debate, Biden did not directly engage with the hecklers. He did however at one point during the shouting say,"If you cross the border illegally, you should be able to be sent back. If we let people in, what should we say to the other immigrants wanting to come to the U.S. around the world? … People should have to get in line."

The protests didn't stop with the former Vice President though. Sen. Cory Booker and Mayor Bill de Blasio were subject to yells as well.

De Blasio's team even went to social media to address the commotions: "To the protestors in the audience today: I heard you. I saw you. I thank you. This is what democracy looks like and no one said it was pretty."

The tweet continued: "I want the Garner family and every single person hurt by the tragedy of his death to know they are seen and heard. We all watched Eric Garner's dying words. They haunted this nation. He NEVER should have died. While I believe that respecting the process is the best way to get justice for Eric Garner's family, I recognize and identify with the pain people across this country are feeling.

"From ending a broken policy of stop-and-frisk to training our officers in implicit bias, we've fundamentally changed our city because of Eric Garner — so that a tragedy like this never happens again," de Blasio's team concluded.

It seems pretty funny that even liberals aren't impressed with these candidates. It's going to be a long time until we can get this circus to stop.
