The phone found on Sept. 11th had a bunch of pictures of a dismembered woman on it. It was turned over to police who found more pictures in the apartment of Dmitry Baksheev, 35, and his 42-year-old wife Natalia.
They reportedly admitted to kidnapping and eating at least 30 people over the span of 18 years. In their home, police found human body parts in jars.
Food items seized are being tested to determine if they are human or animal, and more remains were found in the basement of an adjacent property.
Russian police say the couple is being held on an initial murder charge while investigation and testing are done.
