PASADENA (CNS) - A U.S. Postal worker suspected in the recorded beating of a white peacock that used to roam a Pasadena neighborhood is facing consequences Monday after he was reportedly charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty.
Nicknamed Sugar, the white pea fowl was attacked on Aug. 18 on Mohawk Street. The postal worker, Charanjit Singh was charged on Oct. 1.
The Pasadena Humane Society treated Sugar's injuries and then relocated the bird to Northern California.
