John Kobylt blasted Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and her administration for her attempts to "spin" the aftermath of last year's devastating wildfires. During her state of the city speech on Monday, Bass spoke briefly about the wildfires and how the city has worked to rebuild the neighborhoods that were destroyed.
"We are not just rebuilding — we are rebuilding smarter, faster, and safer. And today, more than 400 homes are under construction, and hundreds more have been approved and are ready to rebuild. Families are returning home, this is progress, but we're not gonna slow down," she said.
Kobylt blasted her comments, saying she was trying to spin her administration's failures as she prepares for reelection.
"She's using the same manipulation in her speeches, the fake empathy, uh, and then she wants to move forward. That's not possible. That's not going to happen. Not here at least. I don't buy into the public relations, lawyer BS," he said.
