Bill Handel made a surprise announcement during his show on Wednesday (January 21). He told his listeners that Kono, the show's producer has been without a car after his recently exploded. Kono has a lengthy commute, traveling 72 miles each way to get to work everyday.
Handel told his listeners that he and his co-workers decided to secretly raise money so they could buy Kono a new car to replace the one that blew up.
"Kono's a good guy. He asked for nothing, and he works real hard," Neil Saavedra told listeners.
