Bill Handel Reacts To Trump's 'Because She Annoyed Me' Tariff Hike

President Donald Trump addressed the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday (January 21), focusing on the economic achievements of his administration and policy changes, including regulatory cuts and tariffs, which he claimed reduced the U.S. trade deficit. He described the U.S. as "the economic engine on the planet," asserting that global economic health benefits from American success.

He emphasized the importance of the tariffs he has imposed as a means to protect American interests and exert pressure on European nations to align with U.S. policies. During one point in his speech, Trump told a story about raising tariffs on an unnamed country, blaming the country's female prime minister for rubbing him the wrong way during a conversation about the increased traiffs.

Bill Handel was shocked when President Trump told the story and the reason he decided to raise them on one country in particular.
