A popular UFO-reporting app, Enigma, has recorded thousands of sightings of Unidentified Submersible Objects (USOs) near US waterways. These underwater phenomena have raised concerns among high-ranking US Navy officials, who warn they could pose a threat to national security. Enigma, which launched in late 2022, describes itself as the "largest queryable historical sighting database for global UFO sightings." It has received reports on over 30,000 Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena since its inception.

While many reports focus on objects in the sky, Enigma has also documented numerous instances of strange objects emerging from or plunging into the sea without causing a splash. These USO sightings add a new dimension to the ongoing mystery of unidentified phenomena, sparking curiosity and concern among the public and military alike.

The app's data collection efforts aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of these mysterious occurrences, though much remains unexplained. As interest in UFOs and USOs grows, researchers and officials continue to investigate the potential implications for national security and scientific discovery.
