A 16-year-old riding an e-bike was hospitalized after a wrong-way crash in Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday (March 25). According to KTLA, the incident occurred around 8:35 a.m. at the intersection of Wardman Bullock Road and San Angelo Drive.
The teen was traveling on the wrong side of the road when a male driver in a van noticed the cyclist. As the driver attempted to swerve to avoid a collision, the teen also swerved in the same direction, leading to a crash. The impact ejected the teen into the air and over the van, landing on the road.
The injured cyclist was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. The van driver was not injured. The identity of the teen has not been disclosed, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
