A terrifying video captured the moment an angry mother bear attacked a truck along a rural road in Japan. According to USA Today, two men were driving through the forest when they encountered a female bear and her cub walking on opposite sides of the dirt road.
As the men slowed down the truck, the mama bear got angry and attacked their vehicle.
Video released by the Hokkaido Prefectural Police showed the bear headbutting the windshield and ripping one of the wiper blades off. The driver then started honking, hoping to scare the bears away. That made the bear angrier, and it hit the windshield with its paw, causing it to crack.
The driver then sped away as the bear chased after it. While the truck sustained significant damage, the two men were unhurt in the attack.
Officials believe the bear was trying to protect its cub after the truck got in between them.
