2 Suspects Arrested in Connection With Retail Thefts

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Two suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with organized retail thefts, Los Angeles police said Thursday.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, LAPD Organized Retail Crime Task Force personnel conducted multiple retail theft operations Thursday in Lancaster and Palmdale.

Detectives arrested two suspects who police said were wanted for multiple organized retail thefts in Los Angeles and other nearby communities. According to police, both suspects were 17-year-old boys when the crimes were committed, but one has since turned 18.

The two suspects were booked at the Van Nuys Jail.

Police said the task force has made a total of 34 arrests so far this year.
