Police Say 'Dispute' Led To K.C. Parade Shooting, Two Juveniles Detained

More details are emerging on Wednesday's deadly shooting at the Chiefs Super Bowl parade in Kansas City.

  • Police Chief Stacey Graves says it appears a "dispute between several people" led to the shooting. A motive is still under investigation.
  • Graves also said that two juveniles were among the three people detained.  No names have been released and no criminal charges have been filed so far.
  • One person was killed and 22 people were injured, including nine children who were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
