Bob Moore, Founder Of Bob's Red Mill, Dies At 94

Bob Moore, founder of Bob's Red Mill, has died at the age of 94.

  • The company announced over the weekend that Moore died Saturday: "He was 94 years old and full of the same love for wholesome foods as the day he founded Bob’s Red Mill."
  • Moore founded Bob's Red Mill in 1978 in Portland, Oregon, eventually expanding to more than 200 products in 70 companies. He remained on the company's board until his death.
  • In a statement, the company said "We will truly miss his energy and larger-than-life personality."
