Tesla is recalling nearly its entire fleet of vehicles over an issue with the warning light.
- The NHTSA says the font size on the instrument panel is too small, making the brake warning lights too hard to read.
- No crashes, injuries, or deaths related to the issue have been reported.
- A total of 2.2 million vehicles are being recalled, including the 2012-2023 Model S, 2016-2024 Model X, 2017-2023 Model 3, 2019-2024 Model Y, and 2024 Cybertruck.
- The issue will be fixed via a free over-the-air software update. Affected owners will also be notified by letter.
