The 13th Annual KFI PastaThon to benefit Caterina's Club was a huge success once again because of YOU!
This year's event raised over $1.3 million and 80,000 pounds of pasta and sauce for Caterina's Club.
For those who don't know, Chef Bruno Serato started Caterina's Club, a charity named after his beloved mother. He began providing meals in 2005 to children living with their families in local low-income motels because there was no way for them to make hot meals. Over the last 18 years, Chef Bruno has expanded his project to provide more than 25,000 meals per week in 100 locations in 30 cities across Southern California.
But it's not just that; Caterina's Club is helping to break the cycle of poverty with a three-pronged approach. They feed the kids in need now, help families get back into stable home environments, and provide job training for youth so they have the skills they need to work in the hospitality industry.
Since 2010, the KFI family of listeners and customers of our amazing partners, Smart & Final, Barilla Pasta, and Wendy's restaurants in Southern California, have raised more than $7.2 million and 831,000 pounds of pasta & sauce for this local charity. We truly could not do this without you and our partners. THANK YOU for your generosity and continued support of this event.
