LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Two men were arrested after they walked into the Los Angeles Police Department's Northeast Station and told officers that there was a man's body in a Glassell Park garage, authorities said Monday.

The men stopped at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the station at 3353 San Fernando Road, according to a dispatcher at the LAPD's Operations Center.

The men, ages 22 and 49, advised officers of the body in the garage at 2751 W. Avenue 31, just south of the Glendale (2) Freeway, she said.

Officers went to the garage and found a 50-year-old man who had suffered from blunt force trauma and firefighters pronounced him dead at the scene, the dispatcher said.

The victim's identity was not released pending notification of relatives, she said.

The two men who reported the dead body were taken into custody, the dispatcher said.
