LOS ANGELES (CNS) - As of Saturday, the Los Angeles Unified School District has a new web address, LAUSD.org.
District officials said the new website will "bring cohesion to the District's online presence and improv(e) accessibility for families and school communities."
The new address replaces achieve.lausd.net.
During the transition, parents and others can continue to use legacy web addresses to access District news, information and services. Web traffic will be automatically redirected to the new LAUSD.org address.
Select Los Angeles Unified schools will also make the transition to LAUSD.org. Participating schools will have redesigned websites with an improved design and features developed specifically for desktop and mobile users.
Despite the changed web address, users will still have access to the same student and employee online services and can continue using @lausd.net logins and email addresses.
