Looks like Mark Zuckerberg is following in Elon Musk's footsteps.
- Meta is launching a 'Meta Verified' subscription service that will offer paid verification to Facebook and Instagram users, for $12 a month.
- Subscribers will get extra protections, additional support, and other perks with their 'blue badge'.
- Zuckerberg says the change is "about increasing authenticity and security across our services".
- The move comes just two months after Twitter launched its paid 'Twitter Blue' verification service to mixed reviews.
