Another pair of earthquakes have struck southern turkey.
- The quakes -- which registered a 6.4 and 5.8 on the Richter Scale -- occurred Monday near the Syrian border, just two weeks after earthquakes in the area left tens of thousands of people dead. Although the extent of the damage from the new tremblors has not yet been determined, the mayor of Samandag is reporting several collapsed buildings and "panicked residents."
- The latest quakes came one day after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited the area and pledged $100 million in aid for Turkey and Syria.
