LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Firefighters Sunday knocked down a fire inside a unit on the second floor of a five-story hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Firefighters dispatched at 7:30 a.m. Sunday to 721 S. Main St. had the fire out within 23 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
"(Firefighters) will continue to utilize blowers to systematically remove smoke and reintroduce fresh air into the building," the department's Nicholas Prange said.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
