Ken Block, the pro rally car driver, and Hoonigan and DC Shoes founder, has died.
- According to a statement from Hoonigans Industries, the action sports icon died in a snowmobile accident in Utah on Monday.
- The statement read: "It's with deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed."
- Block became a recognizable name in sports as co-founder of skate company DC Shoes and becoming a five-time X Games medalist for RallyCross.
- Ken Block was 55.
