Los Angeles police are offering a $50,000 reward for any information that helps identify the hit-and-run driver who killed a woman and injured several other people on Christmas Day.
On Sunday, December 26, a black Chevrolet Camaro's driver lost control, veered off the road, and hit a crowd of spectators, killing Elyzza Guajaca, 24, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver then fled the scene on foot...
The incident occurred during a 'street takeover', an act of speeding and reckless driving in which vehicles close intersections and engage in stunts like burnouts, drifting, and doughnuts.
Investigators suspect that six or seven people were injured, with at least three critically wounded, as 200 spectators watched from the street.
