Jay Leno stopped by the show tonight to talk with Tim and Mark about his recovery and drops loads of jokes. Comedian Jay Leno was burned in a gasoline fire while working on a 1907 white steam engine car in his Los Angeles garage in November. His friend Dave Killackey was also working on the car when the car caught fire and helped extinguish the flames on Leno's face. He was badly burned on his face and had to be hospitalized at the Grossman Burn Center. Leno issued a statement during his hospital stay.
“I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”
The 72-year-old former Tonight Show host was released from the hospital after 10 days and is now home and in good spirits.
