A Las Vegas woman managed to turn the tables on a carjacker when she grabbed his gun and shot him to death, police say.
- The incident -- which was reported by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police on Monday -- occurred November 19th after the woman and a friend parked in front of a home in a north Vegas neighborhood. After another vehicle parked in front of them, "two or three men" approached the women and forced them out of their vehicle at gunpoint, police say. One of the men got inside the car but apparently hadn't driven a push-to-start car before. As he tried to figure it out, he set his gun in his lap, police say.
- Seizing the moment, the unidentified victim reached into the car, grabbed the gun and ran, police say. The suspect then got out of the car and tackled the woman, authorities say. She turned around and shot him to death, according to police. Police say the woman acted in self-defense and won't be charged in the incident.
