Large Piece Of Space Shuttle Challenger Found On Ocean Floor

A large piece from the 1986 Challenger explosion has been found at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean.

  • On January 28th, 1986, the space shuttle Challenger exploded shortly after takeoff, killing seven crew members including schoolteacher Christine McAuliffe.
