LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Los Angeles firefighters determined today that an unidentified spill at a USC science building was not dangerous, and university operations returned to normal.
The request for an investigation about a pungent smell emanating from a first-floor room of Seaver Science Center at 920 Bloom Walk was reported around 6:30 p.m., according to fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The spill was deemed harmless and cleared around 8:10 p.m., according to campus police, who allowed people back into the building.
