'Unsolved' Episode 302 - The Tragic Death Of Two Teens

There are more than 10,000 unsolved crimes in Southern California, most of which are homicides. Unsolved with Steve Gregory highlights cases that have gone cold, hit a brick wall, or just need that one piece of evidence or witness to surface to break the case wide open. The program features law enforcement agencies from Southern California, including the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, the LAPD, the Sheriff departments of Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties and federal agencies like the FBI, DEA and ATF.

Episode 302 features the cases of two16-year-olds who were both innocent victims. Listen above or access the transcript HERE.

Case #1-- Danah Rojo-Rivas, 16.

On November 23, 2016 at 9:30pm, Danah and her mother were headed home from church. As their car sat at a red light at Euclid Ave. and Long Beach Blvd. in Lynwood, a car-to-car chase approached them and gunshots were fired. Danah, who was sitting in the backseat of the vehicle, was struck and killed.

Case #2 - Raymond Garcia, 16.

In 2007, Raymond was at a neighbor's home in Pomona celebrating a 1-year-old's birthday. As he left the party and just a few doors away from his home, a van pulled up, a bunch of guys jumped out and a fight broke out. Someone opened fire, hitting Raymond. He later died at the hospital. Detectives with Pomona Police Department say the 16-year-old was innocently caught in the middle of a gang rivalry.
