Before 10-year-old Alithia Haven Ramirez was fatally shot two months ago, she expressed that she wanted to be an artist and share her work with the world...

In March, Alithia entered her artwork in the search engine’s “Doodle for Google” contest that they have every year. Her submitted drawing included a girl sitting on a sofa holding two balls of yarn and a pet, with "Google" drawn in art above the couch.

Although Alithia’s artwork did not move to the contest's final round, Google placed her drawing on a special memorial page created for the Uvalde victims.
