A California man who used police-type lights to pull over another driver is headed to prison for two years.

What makes this crime interesting is the man was drunk and the driver he pulled over was an off-duty cop.

Last month, Clemente Martinez used the lights to pull over a car, not knowing it was an off-duty sheriff's sergeant.

The sergeant pulled his car over, however Martinez didn't stop and instead drove away.

After following him home and calling the police, it was found that Martinez had a 0.10 blood alcohol level.

Ironically, it was reported that Martinez had pulled the sergeant over to warn him about intoxicated driving.

Martinez will serve a two-year prison sentence for drunk driving and impersonating an officer.
