SANTA CLARITA (CNS) - A person was found dead today in the Santa Clarita area, and an investigation was underway.
Authorities were sent to a remote area near the 31000 block of San Martinez Road about 9:30 a.m., and the person's death was confirmed about an hour afterward, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Information was not immediately available on the person's identity or cause of death.
