PALMDALE (CNS) - A man who was hit by a vehicle and killed in Palmdale was identified today, and authorities sought the public's help to find the motorist responsible for his death.
The crash occurred at 2:53 a.m. Sunday on northbound Sierra Highway between Technology Drive and Rancho Vista Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Alfredo Leon, 21, of Palmdale, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
The vehicle was described only as a white BMW SUV. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call detectives at 661-272-2423.
