LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man was shot to death today near the Metro A Line's Firestone Station.
The shooting was reported about 5:50 p.m. in the 8900 block of South Maie Avenue in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area, according to Deputy David Yoo of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
No suspect description was provided.
