A third man has been arrested in connection with the Sacramento shooting that left six dead and twelve injured. He was later released on $500k bail.

31-year-old Daviyonne Dawson was taken into custody late Monday evening. A gun was recovered.
He was taken into custody after being seen carrying a gun after the shooting.

Dawson will be charged for possessing a firearm despite being prohibited from having one.
Despite being taken into custody, he was released from jail the next morning, Tuesday, after posting $500k bail.

Police commented on his arrest:

“At this time, Dawson is not charged with crimes directly related to the shootings,”
“Based on the type of firearm recovered, detectives do not believe that this gun was used in the shooting. Detectives are continuing to investigate this crime and identify additional suspects.”
