Man Found in Malibu Parking Lot Identified

MALIBU (CNS) - A man who was found dead in Malibu was identified today.

Deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills Station were called to the 30000 block of Pacific Coast Highway about 7 a.m. Tuesday to investigate a body discovered in a parking lot, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Inge Baumbach, 58, was found by deputies near the Trancas Canyon Nursery, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.

Various news outlets identified Baumbach as an overnight security guard who worked for a nearby shopping center.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Baumbach's cause of death has not been determined.
