POMONA (CNS) - A man killed in a Pomona shooting was publicly identified today.
Anastacio Miranda was 29-years-old and died in an alley from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner's office. His city of residence was not available.
The shooting was reported at about 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of East Olive Street, near the Pomona (60) Freeway, close to an apartment complex, according to Sgt. Edgard Padilla of the Pomona Police Department.
Another man was found in the area suffering gunshot wounds, and police learned of a third man who was taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds prior to their arrival. One was reported in critical condition and the other had stable vital signs.
No motive or suspect description was immediately available.
