It turns out there were people at the Broncos’ Empower Field when a fire burned through the third and fourth levels on Thursday -- but, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
That’s according to officials with the former Mile High Stadium, who say about 100 people were on the property for "an event" when the blaze broke out at about 2 p.m.
The fire started on the fourth level, in an area that’s under construction, and quickly spread to the third level, according to the Denver Fire Department.
By the time the flames were extinguished, at least six rows of seats in two sections had been destroyed, a spokesman says.
